Hi,I have a Sansui 9090DB, Model No. 9090DB, Serial No. 1019. I have had it for about 5 years. I also have the Sansui 3609 model, model# 9090D-2S. (both of these receivers were purchased from Radio Shack(R)).The Sansui model# 9090DB is the original unit that was sold with the Sansui mixer and power amp that came with the receiver. It has done fine for the 5 years that I have had it.The 3609 model# 9090D-2S was purchased at Radio Shack(R) in 1985. It came with a power amp and matching Sansui mixer (SS-9090DB). The Sansui mixer is only compatible with the Sansui 9090DB. I purchased it in early 1985 and have had this unit for 14 years.I have had to replace the Sansui receiver 3 times in the last 10 years and have changed the volume control. The volume control of the Sansui 9090DB is not adjustable. In addition, the power amp in the Sansui 9090DB is not adjustable either.I have had to replace the volume control once in the last three years and have changed the power amp once in the last three years.I have replaced the power amp on the 3609 model# 9090D-2S only once since 1985. The Sansui mixer is still in perfect working order as far as I am concerned.At the present time, the Sansui mixer is displaying the 2SC1116A (7SC1111) for both channels. This is not good for a Sansui mixer.I would like to get the Sansui mixer and the Sansui power amp from the Sansui 9090DB and install them into the Sansui 3609 model# 9090D-2S. I know that this is not a good idea and the correct way to do this is to simply replace the Sansui 9090DB with the Sansui 9090DB that came with the Sansui mixer and power amp. When I tried this last time, the Sansui 9090DB would not fit into the Sansui mixer. The volume control was not adjustable and the power amp was not adjustable.I would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations that you may have. Thank you.Sincerely,Irondoug1

I have the Sansui 9090 too. I just installed the Sansui 9090 driver on my computer. I'm not sure, but I think it was one of the same drivers that you did, and it works fine. It sounds great to me.
