There is no reason for Amazon to be hosting this movie for free. It breaks down many of the ways in which the video/music/book industry is trying to combat piracy. Whoever was responsible for the upload is acting as an accomplice to stealing a copyrighted work.
I do agree that this could be a little confusing and I'm not the first person to come up with this error. Especially in this day and age where people are walking around with the latest operating systems and all the tools fellow on there, its hard not to come across this error.
